I’m opposed
Where’s the info. I would think the developers would consider that important. Dang I wonder how I can get a job like theirs.
I have been using this app for years to determine if nights are even worth chasing the northern lights. This app has been very accurate for many years and I don’t know if it’s with the recent iOS 18 update or what… but now my phone will no longer load my location. And yes, my location is turned on for this app. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the app with no success.
Love this app. Just a click and I know whether to go to my telescope or not. It’s useful even in daytime hours since I like to test my GoTo scope to see if I’m being blessed with a sky clear enough to spot Mercury, a real test of clear skies.
Really enjoy this app..
Not always accurate. It will say good stargazing conditions in full daylight.
In Apple Vision Pro needs feed from my iTunes purchases, eg. vangelis cosmos
After downloading and installing this application for iOS, contemplated researching into all the features of the free version. Found the additional details after scrolling up from the starting screen. Comparing to another similar app.
Jesus is my way and my friend
Maybe I just need to pay for premium, but it shows "good stargazing conditions" on a night covered in clouds. Good information and nice layout though.
Just wanted an app that described what was in the sky above: planets, stars, and it does not do that. Instead there’s all this “stuff” with dots mixed in.
Not sure what changed with the latest version of IOS but this app is no longer accurate. When cross-referenced with other similar apps or sites, info is way off. Further, if you uninstall and reinstall this app you’ll get different data for the same day. Prior to iOS 17.1.1 this worked very well.
It would be great to have some useful widgets from this app.
This is an experience of a lifetime the lord’s my shepherd guide and friend
As a free app, this tool tells you when sunset and sunrise are, and that is all. Could not get anything else to work.
Every useful feature costs additional money.
That was a great one
I love looking at the sky and this app is great
I absolutely love this App
And he’s been dead for a year. RIP Jordan
Don’t be fooled by the name of the app- the 2.99 doesn’t give a live sky map and it is totally worthless. Get sky guide instead
I had this app for years to view the night sky from any location to find planets and stars. On vacation today and find out they now want me to pay for features I already had before. GOOOODBYE!
EXIST. Me TO You You TO ME scoffield. 🧢🥶🚢🗼🏗️
Doesn’t do anything unless you pay. I don’t mind paying but have no idea what it is supposed to do.
Lucas is home with the girls and then I have to get my nails done done and I’ll be back home tomorrow afternoon I’ll call him tomorrow night and I’ll let him know when I will let you know when I’m home I’ll call him tomorrow night and I’ll call him when I’m back in the gym
Requires purchasing second app to find stars. Very disappointing
The score is better than other binary indicators.
I bought this to help with my astrophotography and I don’t regret it. It has REALLY good detection on light pollution and is really accurate
It’s just great, if you like stargazing then get the app!
Hello. I am writing this on Dec 31st, 2021, 1:00AM in the US. I'm giving this a two star score (and will update one corrected) because your moons are not correct. The current moon phase is a WANING Crescent moon 🌘 ; which by your app, NASA, and various other moon phase charts indicate the same moon phase. The icon your app shows is a WAXING Crescent moon 🌒, indicating it is facing in the wrong direction. This incorrect icon is shown within the app and in the app widget. New Moon: 🌑 Waxing Crescent: 🌒 First Quarter: 🌓 Waxing Gibbous: 🌔 Full Moon: 🌕 Waning Gibbous: 🌖 Third Quarter: 🌗 Waning Crescent: 🌘 Otherwise it's a pretty decent app.
Cool
Realized after I paid the $1 for pro that location couldn’t be chosen manually. Have to either be at the location or choose from one of the available locations which is extremely limited. The whole point of the app for me was to see what stargazing conditions are like so I know if I should bother traveling out to darker skies. Seems like such an easy feature to fix that the lack of communication on why this “feature” isn’t available or the plans for the update warrant a 1 star review.
Not gonna lie this app is horrible it’s literally just stock photos of stars and nothing else.
I can’t see anything or even get the universe to Move, although I have got premium version, not what I expected, to say the least.
Helps give you an idea if that evening will be good for stargazing. Good at what its meant for.
I love this app so far it’s amazing and reminds me of the weather app. I enjoy looking out at the stars (though I can’t when I’m near my home) and this app helps me know when that’s best to participate in. I also am kept up on the nearest full moon for crystal cleansing.
This app is fantastic, this is a great learning tool...
It is not the best
I bought this program because it seemed better than Star Walk 2.It seem that it was until version 10. The change in the color of the sky versus the stars make this program difficult to use, especially during the day. There don’t seem to be any granular control for this.
App worked until I pay 0.99$ for the full version and it stopped working (not even opening the app) as soon as I paid the amount!
awesom
I love this app. I’ve been using it off and on for years. It’s a great way to just learn interesting space events, and to tell what’s going to be visible in your area. Sadly this app hasn’t been updated in a few years, which while understandable (the stars don’t change much after all) it would be neat to see this app with IOS 14 functionality. It would make great widgets.
Showing these to my grandchildren.Opens up
Wrong all the time for my area
The app works great if you’re physically at your stargazing location. For those that need to travel away from city lights the app is not accurate. With set searchable city locations it isn’t practical for use in planning stargazing trips. If locations could be searched by GPS entry (like the current location) it would easily earn 5 stars.
I love sky live!
It is so fun and cool and great for me and maybe you you should definitely download this app
I love the local, and accurate, Observing conditions The app shows for my town. JimPhelps
